Blog Romania

Romania is the only Latin country in Central and Eastern Europe (the language is similar to Italian, French and Portuguese). Romanians are gregarious, warm and enormously generous.

Romania has mountains and ski resorts, the biggest forest and the most wild bears in the EU, but also beaches and the biggest Delta.

Although moving quickly towards a western life-style, Romanians still enjoy the ancient traditions that give this country so much colour. Many villages have remained unspoilt for the past 500 years.

Romania joined NATO in 2004 and the EU in 2007.
