Neighborhood Description: In a closed compound with 24 / 7 security, pool (indoor and outdoor), sports club, restaurant, lake and some expat families. Feels about as close as Bucharest can come to an American style suburb. We like Corbeanca, but it is a further ten minutes north from Pipera. Not an issue for the International Schools in Pipera, but a longer distance for commute to the office (unless you work in Ploiesti?).
