NEIGHBORHOOD: Pretty large development by Romanian standards and a good mix of both Romanian professionals as well as expats. Development is near a private club (paid admission) offering a nice pool on the lake with bbq and (probably) the best cocktails in town. Shopping is in the area and we are talking ten minutes up the highway to the international schools and commercial offices of Pipera. Downtown is another ten minutes in the opposite direction. Herastrau park is one of only about three places I can think of with a good running path (6 kilometers around the lake).
